Obituary for Marie Elizabeth Mushmeche

Marie B. Mushmeche peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late Albert P. Mushmeche, Jr. for 51 years. Mother of Amy M. Breaux (Rickey), and Gina M. Mushmeche. Daughter of the late Geraldine and Adam Bultmann. Grandmother of Timothy Csintyan-Breaux (Natalie) and Tayler Breaux.

She was an avid reader, enjoyed New Orleans History and attending classes through the New Orleans People Program, and going to lunch with her friends. She was a devoted grandmother. She was a native of the Irish Channel of New Orleans and a resident of Terrytown, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Prayer Service at Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 1:30pm. Visitation will be held Thursday morning from 10am until 1:30pm. Interment will be held privately at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to The People Program, 2240 Lakeshore Dr., New Orleans, LA 70122, nolapeopleprogram.wildapricot.org.
