TributeAnna Barbara Curry St. Romain, cherished mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on July 2, 2022, at age 78, after a long battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her parents William P. Curry and Bertha Comford Curry, her ex-husband Douglas St. Romain and her daughter, Kim Yvette St. Romain. She is survived by her daughter Shelley Lynn St. Romain and grandchildren Ursula and Matthew, her brother, William P. Curry, Jr. and sister, Rita C. Pittman. When her children were grown she attended Loyola University and received a degree in dance therapy. An avid dancer and seamstress, she taught ballet and dance most of her life, making costumes for her students; as a senior, she taught ballet, ballroom dance and exercise at the People Program Senior Center for many years, even after her illness, until her illness prevented it. She was retired from the New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board.
